Operations/Scheduling Coordinators – Student Support Services

These two positions will support the new Student Support Services Hubs at PBHG which will provide mental health services to schools and students. The Coordinator will answer general and new participant inquires and communicate with potential participants by supporting schools with the scheduling/application process, which may include organizing timeframes for high need districts. One Coordinator will be based in Ocean County (Bayville) and one in Monmouth County (Eatontown). Residential Counselor Full Time

Summary of Position:  Observe and assist 3-7 consumers in a residential setting, with ongoing counseling for mental health services. All residential group home counselors are viewed as essential personnel in states of emergency and need to comply with work schedules accordingly. $500 SIGN ON BONUS! Responsibilities: On-site services and support; Communicating observations and information about the consumer to the program specialist and team; Counselor will demonstrate proficiency in AMHR, WRAP and IMR; Supervising, organizing and supporting recreational and/or socialization activities; Transportation Resident counseling Crisis intervention services, with ability to call police, outreach and ambulance services Participation in the development of the brief visit process, treatment service plan, discharge plan, or any other behavioral modification plan; Participation in individual service, coordinating activities such as medical, mental, health and community services; Documenting observations, information and services provided to the consumer in daily shift notes, weekly progress notes, or any other emergent documentation needed; Assists with facility clean-up when needed; Supervise medication self-administration by the consumer, and has a working knowledge of medications and side effects; Outreach family members when applicable, give support and education; Spends majority of shift with consumer(s); On-going communication with specialist regarding consumers and exhibited behaviors; Must maintain required CPR, Handle With Care and first aid education/certification; Monitors life safety needs and participates in/provides documentation of Fire Drills, Fire Equipment Inspections, AED Inspections, Disaster Drills, Vehicle Safety Reports, Monthly Sanitation Reports, First Aid Supplies, Daily Refrigerator and Freezer Temperature Forms, Weekly Dishwasher and Weekly Food Temperature Forms; Must exercise flexibility as needed with reassignment to other group home to comply with consumer census policy and staff shortages. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field OR Associate’s degree and 2 years of related work or life experience OR LPN and 2 years of related work or life experience OR High School diploma and 4 years of work or life experience. Administrative Assistant – IOTSS Program

Summary: This position assists the IOTSS team with daily program organization and general office management duties. Courteously greets consumers and visitors in person or via telephone, determines their needs and directs them accordingly. Schedules and tracks medication management appointments including follow up. Provides typing as needed for staff members, uploading documents, and sends certified mail outreach letters as requested by clinical staff. Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse

Summary of Position: Provide Psychiatry evaluation and diagnostic testing under supervision of collaborative physician working in Monmouth County. A unique opportunity at varying locations, providing integrated care in Monmouth County. Specific Responsibilities:• Performs Psychiatry Evaluation under supervision of collaborative physician.• Works effectively with the full spectrum of diagnosis disorders.• Demonstrates clinical facility in psychotropic medication use, side effects and indications for psychiatric intervention, in children, adolescents (if a child prescriber) and adults.• Demonstrates ability to identify changes and precipitants in the status of maladaptive symptoms and level of functioning.• Drug utilization evaluation and monitoring shall be conducted by a qualified physician, pharmacist, or other professional with legal prescribing authority who is not immediately responsible for the prescribing process but able to provide feedback to the prescribing practitioner.• Ongoing training and education shall be a priority of pharmacotherapy professionals.• An initial review shall be taken as soon as the person enters services of all medications currently being taken and their efficacy, potential side effects, contraindications, and identification of alcohol and/or drug use by persons served.• An up-to-date individual record of all medications, including nonprescription and non-psychoactive medications, prescribed for and used by the person served including name of medication, dosage, frequency, instructions for use, and the prescribing professional shall be documented..• As appropriate, ongoing training and education regarding medication shall be provided to persons served, individuals and family members with legal right or identified by the persons served including dosage, administration, and potential adverse reactions.• The persons served, or their parents or guardians, when appropriate, shall be actively involved in making decisions related to the use of medications• Organizational policies and procedures shall be followed regarding continuity of pharmacotherapy, integration of medications into a person’s overall plan, and actions to follow in case of emergencies related to the use of medications• All policies and procedures related to pharmacotherapy and medication monitoring shall be implemented consistent with federal, state, or provincial laws and licensure requirements.
