Preferred Behavioral Health Group Welcomes Suzanne Corson to Board of Trustees
Healthcare Non-Profit Leader Joins Board of Leading Behavioral Health Organization
LAKEWOOD, NJ – Preferred Behavioral Health Group (PBHG) announced today that Suzanne Corson has been elected to its Board of Trustees. Ms. Corson is a recognized leader in non-profit management and marketing with over 25 years experience. She has a passion for healthcare, dedicating her career to empowering self-advocacy and helping to expand access to care.
Suzanne is currently Executive Director of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC), an organization that advocates for their membership of 1,500 chiropractors and works to protect a patient’s right to access high-quality chiropractic healthcare.
“Suzanne Corson is a trusted advocate in New Jersey’s nonprofit healthcare community, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to our Board of Trustees,” said Dr. Tara Chalakani, PsyD., CEO of PBHG. “Community leaders like Suzanne are the backbone of our organization, and she will be an important partner as PBHG continues its mission to serve even more New Jersey families and individuals.”

Prior to joining the ANJC, Suzanne served over 10 years as Executive Director at Susan G. Komen, an organization dedicated to ending breast cancer forever. In her most recent role at Komen, she led a team committed to serving the community by raising funds to provide treatment assistance, patient navigation and education throughout the state while funding innovative national research initiatives.
A lifelong resident of Freehold, NJ, and graduate of Seton Hall University, Suzanne has a long history of volunteering in the community, having served on committees for the YMCA, Girl Scouts, CentraState Medical Center Foundation and the Freehold Township Education Foundation. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Fundraising Committee for the Chiropractic Future Strategic Plan.
Suzanne and her husband, Glen, reside in Freehold Township with their two sons, Shane and Ryan.
