ICMS provides intensive and proactive outreach services to individuals who are being discharged from psychiatric hospitals and need ongoing assistance in accessing community support resources to ensure a smooth transition.
Justice Involved Services
Individuals who are dealing with severe mental health issues may end up interacting with law enforcement and face various consequences as a result. Our Justice Involved Services (JIS) program helps to break the cycle of detention, repeated detention, and incarceration that individuals with severe mental health issues often experience. The program offers support and resources to help them reintegrate into their community successfully.
Supported Employment
Individuals with mental health issues can find it difficult to secure gainful employment. Supported Employment assists adults with mental or behavioral health issues to overcome employment barriers and find and maintain competitive jobs.
LEARN Supported Education
Adults dealing with behavioral or mental health issues may face challenges when it comes to finding and maintaining employment. The Supported Employment program is designed to provide a support system consisting of a team of professionals who offer job hunting assistance and ongoing aid to ensure successful job placement and retention.
Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness
PATH provides supportive services to mentally ill and homeless adults in northern Ocean County, helping them get access to housing, mental health treatment, and other necessary resources.
